In a nutshell: I ship worldwide. It can take up to 20 business days from when you order to when I ship (around 30 if I'm unusually busy, for example, from when the store officially opens in April 2023 it will likely be this long for the initial batch of orders). This is because EVERYTHING is hand assembled and I personally put everything together. These aren't random numbers - it's based on experience. So, normally around 20 days - usually much quicker - but it can take this long as everything is made to order. It's unlikely you'll hear from me before this time, but if you've received your order confirmation email, I have things in hand. Please (please) don't chase me for an ETA during this time, as I'll only refer you to this page. These are my terms of business and I would ask that you please take note and respect them.  Life is too short and I don't want to cause stress for anyone - myself included.

Firstly, thanks so much for considering using ZenRigs - I really do appreciate your interest! To avoid any grief or confusion, please read these notes on delivery and ordering and make sure you're cool with it before ordering anything!


To make sure it's not missed, I've clearly laid out info on shipping right below this text.


HOWEVER, please also read the FAQ SECTION at the bottom of this page for more important info.

Shipping Times and email comms - READ CAREFULLY!

WHERE AM I BASED AND WHERE DO I SHIP?

I'm based in England in the cold part up north. Brrrrrr. However, I ship all over the world. Mostly to places a lot hotter than where I live. I'm not bitter though.

Shipping worldwide = No Problemo!


EMAIL COMMUNICATION

Your order confirmation email is your confirmation I have your order and it's in the queue to be put together and shipped. Unless there is a delay or something needs clarifying, you will NOT hear from me again until your order is ready to ship . Asking me to provide you with an ETA during this time will just result in a standard email reminding you to read this page. Please read this page!


'AWAITING PROCESSING' - ignore!

The site will automatically set a status for your order to ' Awaiting Processing '. This is meaningless and I do not religiously update this status but, sadly, cannot disable it. The important stuff about the status of your order is in the next paragraph.


SHIPPING TIMES / ETA/ ETS ( Estimated Time to SHIP)

While my aim is to always get your order to the post office for shipping in LESS THAN TWENTY BUSINESS DAYS  (one calendar month) of receiving your complete order, it can sometimes take a little longer if I'm unusually busy or if I'm preparing materials for new orders. Honestly, it's normally a lot quicker than this and I do my best to get orders out as fast as possible, but please keep this in mind! Please note, a business day is Monday-Friday and excludes weekends and UK holidays.


SHIPPING FREQUENCY and orders marked as 'Shipped'

I normally ship TWICE A WEEK (usually Tuesday and Thursday). Once your order is packed and ready to go, it is marked as 'shipped' on the system, so you're aware it's ready to go (there is no other flag available to show it's basically waiting to be taken to the post office). However, your package will physically go to the post office the same week either on Tuesday or Thursday. Once I have shipped your order, the time it takes to get to you is down to the good postal men and women around the world and is out of my hands. I'll send you some tracking info for you to keep tabs on your package but delivery times can vary, even to the same country. For example, it takes 4-5 days for a package to physically arrive in the USA, but then USPS take from 1 day to 2 weeks to get it to you depending on where you are!


CUSTOMS and IMPORT DUTIES

You are responsible for paying any customs or import duties in your country, as applicable in your country. If you decide not to pay them and a package is returned to me, a refund will not be made, but store credit given as detailed in the FAQ section of the site.



By placing an order with ZenRigs, you are accepting these are my terms of business. If you do NOT accept, please do not order, and go in peace my friend. On that note - please read the last bit, below. 


But if you're kind of a big deal,  'must have stuff now!' and just can't wait...


Finally, if you're extremely important, in a mega-rush to get your stuff, feel that you have to be on my case on a daily basis as to when I'm going to ship, require an ETA or feel that you will lose a leg or worse if you don't have your goodies NOW, then..... with all the love in the world, I do not want your business so please do not order from me!  


If it turns out that you do need to be on my case and do need to hassle me (and haven't bothered reading any of this stuff), then there's a good chance I'll just go ahead and cancel your order and refund your money.  Life's too short for the hassle man. I don't want any stress and certainly don't want to cause stress for anyone else over what is ultimately just 'stuff'...

Shipping


  • Where are you based and do you ship worldwide?

    I'm based in the North East of England (UK) in a groovy place called Northumberland and do, indeed, ship worldwide. In fact, the vast majority of my customers are based overseas and I have a blast interacting with all the cool cultures I've been fortunate enough to connect with. Everything is proudly made on planet Earth for my fellow humans around the world. We are one!

  • How long do you take to ship stuff?

    For off-the shelf items, usually within a few days, but any kind of custom work (e.g. printing text labels, making custom glow stickers etc) will take longer (up to 20 business days before shipping). Please check out the Shipping Info section for important information on this!

  • Can I collect from you, for freeeeeeeeeeeeee?

    Hey, if you happen to be somewhere near me, can swing by with a can of cider and a kebab, there's always a chance!

  • How often do you ship?

    As it's just me on my tod, I usually ship twice a week and it's normally a Tuesday and Friday

  • What if I don't collect my package and it's returned to you?

    If you miss your delivery and then do not arrange to collect your package in accordance with your local post office regulations, then your package will be (hopefully) returned to me. When I receive it, I can resend it to you, for additional postage costs payable by you or, with the exception of any custom items (labels etc), I can offer a store credit in accordance with the Returns policy detailed in this FAQ


Payment & Returns


  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

    I use PayPal for all payments taken via the Store. The good news is that PayPal is easy to use and you don't even need a PayPal account to use them. I don't store ANY payment details / credit card details at all - it's all handled by PayPal so you can be secure in the knowledge that you are using a world-class trusted payment processing company. 

  • What is your return policy?

    I follow distance selling rules so, if you don't like a physical product you received, you  can return to me for a store credit (minus original shipping costs to ship to you and a 10% restocking / paypal fees fee on the balance) if returned within 14 days and in 100% unused and re-saleable condition. I'm proud to say I have yet to have a single customer return anything to me for this reason :-)


    Please note, return postage cost is your responsibility, as is adequate packing to ensure safe delivery back. Any refund due will be paid once the returned items have been received in satisfactory condition.


    However, everything is clearly described on the ZenRigs site so please read about what you're ordering carefully to avoid unnecessary butt-hurt for either or us. For example, GloRisers are 10mm thick - if you order them and then get surprised when they turn up and they're 10mm thick, well... 


    For any downloadable / electronic  items, all sales are final and non-refundable.

    I'm always working on new stuff so, sure, no harm in chatting. If it's something I can do for you, I'll give you a price and away we go...


  • You always seem so upbeat and happy. What are you on and where can I get some?

    You know what my friend... every day when I look out of my window, the sun is shining, people are dancing in the streets and the birds are singing in the trees. If you can’t see it from where you're sitting,  you need to look out of a different window…

  • What's the difference between a duck?

    An excellent and perfectly valid question. One of its legs are both the same. (Are you in the pub, and can I join you?)
